The Rossiter System targets your body’s connective tissue, a head-to-toe network of ligaments, tendons and fascia that holds everything together. These techniques use weight and active stretching to loosen and lengthen the entire network of tissue to its natural state. The client lies on the floor on a mat and the Rossiter coach uses their foot to add weight to the client’s body.
Inspired by a Native American legend, Raindrop Technique combines a variety of energy medicine and natural medicine modalities. Developed by D. Gary Young in the 1980's, it includes the use of several anti-bacterial essetnial oils (both as aromatic and as direct topical agents), effleurage, and massage through a series of specfiic techniques for the spinal muscles, and moist heat via a warm compress. Since its development over 20 years ago, it has brought relief to thousands suffering chronic back pain.
Releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia. It is called deep tissue, because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
A system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.
The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
